Liturgical Hints & Ideas
This is "Good Shepherd Sunday." Look through your settings of Psalm 23 and Psalm 100 (vocal, choral and organ). Use several of these... and how long has it been since you've presented the standards: "He Shall Feed His Flock" (G.F. Handel) and "Sheep May Safely Graze" (J.S. Bach). This is also a World Day of Prayer for Vocations. For those responsible for diocesan ordination liturgies, we offer the following suggestions:
- Be unto Me, O Lord (William Byrd, ed. Wm. Tortolano)
- Behold My Servant (Robert W. Parker)
