Liturgical Hints & Ideas:
The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King ends the Church's liturgical year.
Much fesitivity and solemnity is proper to this liturgy.
This year's readings, though, with the Gospel from the Passion account, highlights the paradox of the benevolent shepherd-king, dying on the cross, offering Paradise to the repentant sinner, and might call for more "humbling" music.
