Liturgical Hints & Ideas:
The Chrism Mass is a chance for the diocese (representatively) to gather with the bishop who blesses the oils to be used during the coming year.
Additionally, the priests renew their commitment to him made at their own ordinations.
The music, while still maintaining a Lenten mood, needs to speak of ministry and the bond between bishop and priests - the saving grace of God flows from the bishop (as successor of the apostles) through the priests to the faithful.
