Liturgical Hints & Ideas

The Gospel readings for this and the preceeding and following Sundays come from Christ's "Farewell Discourse" in Saint John's Gospel. These offer a masterpiece for meditative reflection. Music for the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Sundays of Easter can reflect this mystic, contemplative atmosphere - chant, Latin, polyphony; all these are great vehicles for conveying transcendence.
