The success of the first book of carols has prompted the publication of this edition, Ten New Carols for Advent and Christmas, Volume 2.
In addition to carols by Gary Penkala (who authored the ten carols in Volume 1) can be found carols by J. William Greene, Organist/Choirmaster at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynchburg VA, and by Colin Brumby, a prolific composer from Queensland, Australia.
As in Volume 1, a variety of fresh, new Christmas topics are explored: the virtues of faith, hope and love; the watchman's longing for happy news; the house in Nazareth.
The three Kings are remembered in two carols - a "mystical geographical travel log" and a lilting carol with echo phrases.

These carols, whether sung by a choir or congregation, by soloist or around the family piano, will add a fresh sound and inventive dimensions to your celebration of the Incarnation.

Carols included in Volume 2:

- Advent Carol (Brumby)
 - God With Us (Penkala)
 - Herself a Rose Who Bore the Rose (Greene)
 - O Gente felix (Brumby)
 - O'er the Hill and O'er the Vale (Greene)
 - The Ox and the Ass (Greene)
 - The Shepherd and the King (Greene)
 - Three Kings in Great Glory (Brumby)
 - Trust in God (Penkala)
 - The Virtues of Christmas (Penkala)
