Give peace, Lord to those who wait for you and your prophets will proclaim you as you deserve. Hear the prayers of your servant and of your people Israel. (See Sirach 36:18)

Almighty God,
our creator and guide,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer over the Gifts:
Lord,
hear the prayer of your people
and receive our gifts.
May the worship of each one here
bring salvation to all.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Preface for Sundays in Ordinary Time VII: [Salvation through the obedience of Christ]
Father, all-powerful and ever-living God,
we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks.

So great was your love
that you gave us your Son as our redeemer.
You sent him as one like ourselves,
though free from sin,
that you might see and love in us
what you see and love in Christ.
Your gifts of grace, lost by disobedience,
are now restored by the obedience of your Son.

We praise you, Lord, with all the angels and saints
in their song of joy:

  Holy, holy, holy Lord...

Communion Antiphon:
O God, how much we value your mercy! All mankind can gather under your protection. (Psalm 36:8)

Prayer after Communion:
Lord,
may the eucharist you have given us
influence our thoughts and actions.
May your Spirit guide and direct us in your way.
We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord. Amen
