Preface for Sundays in Ordinary Time I: [The Paschal Mystery and the People of God]
Father, all-powerful and ever-living God,
we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Through his cross and resurrection
he freed us from sin and death
and called us to the glory that has made us
a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people set apart.
Everywhere we proclaim our mighty works
for you called us out of darkness
into your own wonderful light.
And so, with all the choirs of angels in heaven
we proclaim your glory
and join in their unending hymn of praise:
  Holy, holy, holy Lord...
Communion Antiphon:
O bless the Lord, my soul, and remember all his kindness. (Psalm 103:2)
Prayer after Communion:
Lord,
we receive the sacrament
which celebrates the memory
of the death and resurrection of Christ your Son.
May this gift bring us closer to our eternal salvation.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
