Advent Organ Music

It is not always possible to correlate organ music for a feast or season in any more than an
abstract way. In one instance, however, the relationship between the music and the liturgical theme can easily be seen -- this is in chorale-based compositions,
where the text of the chorale indicates the meaning behind the music.
Here are some famous Advent hymns and chorales and organ music based on them:
