Musical Musings: Music Programs

Music for 2007/2008 at
The Church of the Holy Family

The United Nations Parish, New York City

It's always enjoyable (and educational) to look at just what music is being used in neighboring churches... or churches across the country. We can learn a great deal about liturgical programming, about seasonal appropriateness, and about what music is available ... some of which may be tucked away in our own libraries! Here's a year of choral music [Cycles C and A] planned for the Church of the Holy Family in New York City, where Paul J. Murray is Director of Music and Organist, and directs a professional ensemble for the Principal Liturgy at 12:00 noon.
